It’s something I always talk myself out of… going out at night to take pictures. I mean why would anyone even think of doing such a thing?!? Well, sometimes the light at night can be just right. And such was the case last night over the Portage Canal.
At about 11 pm it was just starting to fog up as the temperature was dropping. It got into the 50’s during the afternoon, but as I stood waiting for each 8 second exposure my hands and feet got a bit cold. It is after all still winter… isn’t it?
So how does one get in a situation like this? It happens when they look out the window before they go to bed and see something a bit different outside over the canal. If I went to bed without checking it out, like I usually do, I would know I missed an opportunity. Well, tonight I didn’t.
