Apparently, we had quite a storm that came through in the early morning hours. We all slept through it, but when we finally did get to the beach we found it a complete mess.
As you can see it looked like everything that was ever deposited in the ocean was now beached at our resort. The resort spent most of the day cleaning up the mess. They even called in 2 front end loaders and a backhoe to move the debris off the beach.
It also raised havoc with the lazy river and water slide. They were shut down all day while they tried to clean up the water. Fortunately, the pool remained open and the sun shined all day so it wasn’t a total loss. Hopefully, tomorrow starts off a bit better.
