Lunchtime today was even more busy than yesterday. Being it the last day of April I shouldn’t be surprised that the backyard wildlife would throw a party. Here are some of images I got in 20 minutes time in my backyard. The light wasn’t great, but the activity was.

Yellow Finch

Cedar Waxwing

A pair of Cedar Waxwings.

Do they like each other?

I guess they do!

Another pair disgusted by the show.

And another pair who could care less.

And this little waxwing prefers to pick buds off the tree.

Mr Chippy doing his best impression of a Cedar Waxwing. Yes, he's available for parties.

The Yellow Finch moves to a new tree.

Mr Chippy doing his ground surveillance.

A Downy Woodpecker shows up...

And gets his share of the suet.

And a lone waxwing bored by all of this wonders when the "real party" is going to start.
