Photographer Mark E. Riutta has be on a quest to capture the beauty of our surroundings. Now based in the Keweenaw Peninsula he has been given numerous opportunities to capture some of the magic that only nature can provide.

Although nature photography has been his main focus as of late, he is no stranger to capturing fast action sports. His involvement as an alpine ski racing coach has given him the opportunity to learn art of capturing action sports and to do so at the right time.

When not capturing nature and wildlife he can often be found at local sporting events and concerts. Writings of his photo advantures can be found on his blog. His work is often published in "The Current" which is a local paper published out of Norway, MI.
